Mobile Vet Clinic Serving Jacksonville

Our mobile vet clinic provides free physical exams, low-cost vaccinations, and affordable prescription medications at various stops throughout Jacksonville, Florida and the surrounding 5 county area

How It Works

Our Jacksonville mobile vet clinic operates in partnership with local businesses and churches in the community.  These partners make a portion of their parking lots available on various Saturdays for us to operate and serve customers.  The mobile clinic is staffed with a Jacksonville Community Pet Clinics veterinarian and a team of trained staff members who provide free physical exams, low-cost vaccinations, and access to affordable prescription medications.  During the exam, pet owners can consult the veterinarian about their pets’ ears, skin, lumps, changes in behavior, or other concerns.  Should a pet require more immediate extensive care, the attending veterinarian can call ahead and send pets and their owners to one of Jacksonville Community Pet Clinics’ brick-and-mortar locations.  Established in 2009, the mobile clinic has provided affordable, quality care to over 250,000 pets.  It serves a majority of the greater Jacksonville area as well as St. Johns, Nassau, Duval, Baker and Clay Counties.

Save time and complete the patient form below prior to your visit.

Mobile Vet Clinic Schedule

Any necessary schedule or route changes will be reflected here on this web page as well as on our main Facebook page.  Please check back for updates.

Be sure to follow us on Facebook for real-time updates!

Our mobile clinic’s capacity is about 12-15 pet owners/vehicles per hour, depending on a few variables. Please see a JCPC staff member upon arrival to determine if we’ll be able to serve you at the current stop or if we recommend you meet us at the next stop.

Conversely, if we finish servicing all customers at a stop ahead of schedule, we may pack up early and head to the next step. Therefore, please be sure to arrive at least 20 minutes before the end of the stop.   Thanks!

Mobile Pet Clinic Frequently Asked Questions

When and where does the mobile clinic operate?

The mobile clinic operates every Saturday throughout Jacksonville as well as St. John’s, Nassau, Duval, Baker and Clay counties.  Stops vary week by week.  Check the mobile vet clinic schedule on this page of our website regularly for updates on our route.

Do I need to make an appointment for the mobile vet clinic?

The mobile clinic sees customers on a first-come, first-served basis.  Appointments are not available.

When should I arrive at my chosen stop?

Some stops are busier than others.  Our mobile clinic’s capacity is about 12-15 pet owners/vehicles per hour, depending on a few variables.  Therefore, arriving prior to the scheduled start time is recommended.  A JCPC staff member will arrive at each stop as early as possible, prior to the mobile clinic’s arrival, to pass out numbers and forms.  If you are more than 12 pet owners/vehicles deep in line, please see a JCPC staff member to determine if we’ll be able to serve you at the current stop or if we recommend you meet us at the next stop.

Conversely, if we finish serving all customers at a stop ahead of schedule, we pay up early and head to the next step.  Therefore, we recommend arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the end of the stop.

Remember, we may not be able to serve everyone at each stop as we must maintain route schedule times throughout the day.  That’s why we highly recommend arriving prior to the scheduled start time.

What do I need to bring with me to the mobile vet clinic?

Bring your pet either on a leash or in a crate.  Bring your pet’s records for the past year.  Also, while it’s not required, save time by completing the patient form above and bringing it with you to your visit.  Note – this form needs to be completed for each pet and for each visit, even if you have visited the mobile clinic in the past.

What types of payment are accepted at the mobile pet clinic?

We accept cash, debit cards, as well as Mastercard, Visa and American Express credit cards.  We do not accept checks and are unable to accept ScratchPay or CareCredit at the mobile clinic.

How do I find the mobile vet clinic?

Refer to the mobile vet clinic schedule on this page of our website for the name and address of the business we will be outside of.  Then look for the bright yellow sign or our mobile clinic!

Are aggressive dogs accepted at the mobile pet clinic?

Aggressive dogs that are muzzled, and well-controlled while muzzled, are welcome at the mobile clinic.  However, if a pet poses a danger to themselves or our staff, we reserve the right to deny treatment.  In those instances, we will offer alternative treatment options (i.e., sedation) to the pet owner, which would need to take place at one of our regular clinic locations.
